Around the upcoming holiday time, and despite the excitement surrounding the big day itself, there’s a good chance that, at some point, your kids will end up complaining that they’re bored. If this happens, then you may find this video very useful as it details ten experiments that children can do at home, which are fun, interesting and educational (but don’t tell them about that last point!). You’ll probably need to supervise younger children, but then again, it’s the holidays so you can have a bit of fun, too, and your kids will enjoy spending a some quality time with you as you do something interesting and memorable together rather than just vegging out in front of the TV. Be warned, however, that while most of these experiments can be done with things you can easily find lying around the house, you might want to get in a few supplies in advance, just to make sure you have everything you need to hand before you start trying to do any of them.
